The road ahead

Last updated: 08/06/20261 min read

The principle is simple and unglamorous: de-risk the hard walls first, never scale by counting chains — and keep shipping things that genuinely run, so the community has a reason to stay.

Today's testnet is deliberately the minimum that proves the mechanism, not the scale: 3 Base-A chains + 9 Base-B namespaces on one DA node — vanilla Cosmos SDK is enough at this stage.

NodeRolePrimitives it proves
A0 — Root/Settlement (T0)UIR + Asset Registry + Settlement + receives aggregated proofs#1, #2, #4, #7
A1 — Value (T1)Assets, value transfer, ZK/validity#2 (security-class), XMP WRITE
A2 — Interactive (T2)Applications, anchoring Base-B commitments#6 (VLC anchor), XMP READ (ICQ)
9 namespaces (Base B)Social / IoT / Chat × 3 on one DAfee ~0 + inclusion-proof

The pace is the point: each phase closes one specific hard problem before the next opens. The roadmap isn't a headcount of chains — it's a sequence of things stopped from being scary.
